I didn't realize it until I was older, but Real Estate is a field that has been in my life for years. My mom is an interior decorator. I watched her decorate the various homes we've lived in since we moved a lot when I was a young child. After moving so many times, my mom became a pro at staging homes for sale. She used her gift at decorating and staging to start her own business and help several clients decorate and stage their homes to sell faster.
I received a B.A. from Temple University in Journalism and Spanish and a minor in Latin American Studies. I love to travel and studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which led to a few years working as a flight attendant and traveling as much as I could while attending school. Traveling and moving seems to be in my blood since I come from a long line of military personnel who have served in several branches.
During my last year in college, I worked as a leasing consultant for a large multi-family residential company before I moved to Hawaii where I worked at a law firm that delt with Community Association Representation, HOA collections, and Litigation. I decided it seemed like a natural transition to obtain a Real Estate License and work as an assistant to a Broker from whom I could learn the business first hand.
In my free time, I volunteer as a representative to foreign exchange students from all over the world studying in the US for a year. When I'm not working, I'm spening time with my husband and our baby boy. We try to go visit my parents in Bandera, TX, the Cowboy Capital of the World, to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature.
