The Woodlands is a very large master-planned community in South Montgomery County, Texas. The Woodlands is located 30 miles North of Downtown Houston, and is one of the largest communities in the area.
It has continued to grow residentially and commercially since the early 1970's, and functions as a city within a city. The parks, small lakes, shopping, trees, jogging and biking trails, and golf courses have attracted many new residents.
